Deputy General Manager – Works |
| Qualification: |
BE Chemical / B.Sc (Tech)/ M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) + Degree / Diploma in Operations Management. |
| Experience: |
12-14 yrs experience in medium – large Bulk Drug Company with minimum 3 years in Managerial grade (Manufacturing / Operations). |
| Job Role: |
- Would be involved in inception, erection and commissioning of the plant.
- Involved in commercialization of products at large scale.
- Technologies transfer.
- Liaisoning with regulatory agencies like factory Inspector, Pollution control board, FDA, explosive dept, Electricity board, GIDC / Development Commissioner SEZ, Industries/Labour Commissioner for approvals in connection with the setting up of a plant.
- Validations and Implementation of systems / protocols as per the cGMP requirements and Industrial best practices.
- Handle huge manpower and achieve manufacturing targets with focus on better quality products, cost control, optimization of resources.
- Handle activities related to certifications and internal & external audits.
- Spearhead & supervise activities in production, EHS, Quality control, Quality assurance, Engineering.
- Handle activities related to Factory administration, Works committee etc.
- Would involve in activities like Budgetary Preparation, Financial and Commercial Management etc.
- Co-ordinate activities for new products Identification / Development.
- Training Junior Managers / Executive (Scale up / GMP / Safety).
- MIS.
